Our name is inspired by the soaring birds of the Soria region in Spain, representing the heights that young minds can reach when given the wings of imagination and knowledge. We believe that stories have the power to transform lives, especially during the formative teenage years.
A former literary agent with a passion for discovering fresh voices in YA fiction, Maria founded Soaring Soria Books to champion stories that reflect the complexity and diversity of young adult experiences.
With an MFA in Creative Writing and eight years at major publishing houses, Margo has a gift for helping authors find their authentic voice. She's particularly passionate about stories that blend genre elements with emotional depth.
A digital marketing strategist who transitioned from tech to publishing, Joshua understands how to connect books with their perfect readers in the digital age.
At Soaring Soria Books, we're dedicated to publishing diverse, thought-provoking, and engaging young adult fiction that celebrates different voices, tackles important issues, and inspires readers to think critically about their world.
